Guatemala and Honduras
After your arrival on the airport of Guatemala City you travel directly to the colonial city Antigua. This is the operating base for visits to the market of Chichicastenango and the lake of Atitlan. After you have seen the picturesque villages around the lake we travel by minibus to Copan, Honduras. The visit to Copan is dominated by the world famous Maya ruins, but also we will spend a day visiting a coffee-plantation on a horseback and float in warm water springs.
Villagio Verde, Roatan
After acquiring the many impressions it is good staying at the small but very comfortable Villagio Verde. This resort on West End, Roatan has all the comforts you need. You have your own cabana, ample beds, a swimming pool and every morning you will have breakfast on your own veranda.

15 day travel itinerary is as follows:
day 1 - Arrival on Guatemala City airport and travel to Antigua
day 2 - Morning tour Antigua, afternoon free.
day 3 - Free morning Antigua, optional excursion to Macadamia farm/jade-stone factory/ Common Hope, after lunch to Chichicastenango
day 4 - Visit to the market of Chichicastenango, afternoon to Panajachel
day 5 - The lake of Atitlan and the villages in the surroundings
day 6 - Morning free, afternoon back to Antigua
day 7 - Travel to Copan, visit ruins
day 8 - Visit coffee plantation by horse
day 9 - To Roatan
day10-14 Stay Villagio Verde Roatan (to see Scuba Dive or Relax tour)
day 15 - Back home
The travel itinerary is with reservation. The market of Chichicastenango is only on Thursday and Sunday. We will adjust the trip on that.
